The JVC Everio GZ-MG575 Hard Disk (HDD) 40gb Video Camcorder has 10x optical zoom and the digital zoom takes it up to 300x zoom. The Everio GZ-MG575 also operates as an advanced still photo camera and has a 5.37 megapixel CCD for recording still images (image size up to 2592 x 1944 for pristine photos). The GZ-MG575 video camera features advanced photo functions like aperture and shutter priority, auto exposure bracketing, colour mode setting and histogram display. The 40gb Hard Disk Drive (HDD) is protected from shocks and vibrations by a floating suspension system and a gravity sensor system that automatically senses sudden acceleration such as in a free fall situation and turns off the power to protect the Hard Disk. The built-in flash and video light functions automatically, so you can shoot brilliant images even in low light situations.
